You are being juvenile. Did you know that Lincoln’s words during the debates with Douglass had to be heavily edited by Greeley’s editors, because they were not quite what he MUST have meant to say. Still he did ok, because the ears of his audience were not as unreceptive as yours.

When she says: "But in order to help educate the rest of the American public, I’ll articulate that..."
she's setting herself up as brighter or better educated than the rest of us poor slobs in the country.

That displays her arrogance. After making such an arrogant statement she would be wise to at least use the correct words to make her point.
