Has anyone ever won Iowa and New Hampshire but lost the nomination? Romney basically has NH locked up and he could win in Iowa because the anti-Romney vote is split 4 ways. The possibility frightens me.

Edmund Muskie won Iowa and New Hampshire in 1972.

Iowa and New Hampshire can fight for irrelavancy. Florida is where every GOP nomination has been decided for the last 50 years.
