Given that this is a Gannet paper, I’m surprised that they endorsed a Republican - even for the Republican caucuses. It would have been more understandable if they had endorsed Obama; after all, they would not really see any necessity for an election when Obama is already one of the candidates.
Obviously, for the general, they will endorse the socialist/communist as usual.
