“...stop driving it and take it to a Toyota dealer.”

Why not make a similar pronouncement from on high about the Government Backed GM Volt, Ray Ray? Gotta love those RINO traitors.

Maybe Gubmint Motors can blame the “thermal incidents” on the floor mats.

LaHood is the poster boy for what is totally wrong with our overseers, oops, I mean govt officials.

I’d love to see him run over by an SUV.

I was told some very disturbing information by my brother in law, who is a car dealer.

He asked me why would I think that the government would want to be in, or rescue the car building business? I responded with the usual unions response, and he told me that was just a bonus.

Very slowly and deliberately there are efforts underway to tax you on where you drive, how fast you drive, how much fuel you use, monitor your whereabouts, and link the real on-time data to DHS systems. Things like seatbelt useage, speed, and even parking will be linked to fine issuing mechanisms. The number of people in your car, their images, their combined total weight, and even where you shop, go for entertainment, go to work, school, etc.... will be in the searchable database.
