“Energy may be important to Alaska and Texas, but in early primary states like Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina, it is no where near the top issue for voters.”
It SHOULD be. Beyond the implications of energy independence and national security, there’s the cost of heating an IA or NH home in Winter, or air conditioning a NV/SC home in summer. Or just filling your vehicle anywhere in the US.
What a backhanded slap at Palin by the same people who did everything they could to literally destroy her. They are amoral.
Wow
If they actually watched the video, they would know that when she was trying to hold back tears......
she was talking about missing her grandfather who had passed away.
1) When to quit.
(Sorry, couldn’t resist)
I support Perry but I must say, I think his wife does him no favors playing the victim cardno matter how true she believes it to be or how unfair it seems.
When they were leaving the last debate she looked a little huffy like she just wanted to get the L out of there. I cant say I blame her but she must stuff all that down. No matter how hard it is to swallow.
I think he’s still getting his policy and plans squared out, so I’m not worried about that yet. He came in much later, so I think taking a little longer for the reveal is fine.
I did notice at a NH townhall (think it was) a couple of times he didn’t directly answer peoples questions, he did but in a round-about way. I think he needs to work on very direct answers.
I’m hoping he can pull it off.
Whoever strikes first for individual rights, second for states rights, and promises to smash the layers and layers of usurped powers that have accumulated to the Federal leviathan will get my support.
The current role of the Federal government- affecting almost every aspect of our lives- was not what the Framers had in mind. It has more in common with Centrally Planned communist governments than anything American. And, as such, will not stand. Such governments fail because their premises are wrong. Learn this, Rick.
Check this out. hotair.com. That was where I passed over the title I mentioned up thread—turns out it wasn’t on FR at all, where I saw it. Cain may have stepped in this one. Whatdaya think? I know the columnist is trying to cause trouble but it was on TV also, Piers Morgan. Not specific to state’s rights on abortion either. I dunno.
