See, this is what I was getting at. For those of us who followed the trashing of Michele Bachmann (and Sarah, obviously) here at FR, we know that many conservatives have a problem with women candidates. If you did not follow these threads, you might very well think all is well in conservative-land. But it is not.
And when I say “trashing” I do not mean serious disagreements with her statements and policies. I mean the trashing of her appearance, her voice, her marriage, her lifestyle, etc. Some of it was so ugly, it drove some of the more kindhearted off the boards. I stayed.
Yep, you got that right. I literally CRINGE at some of the comments made on Palin (and other candidate)threads. I find the comments crass and classless. But I have been a member of the forum for too long to leave. And I am GLAD you stayed!
After all, we just let the men THINK they run things!
