First off, Christie isn't running so that isn't even on the menu.

Well that's true. The threat is out there, though, and you are the one who brought him up--not me.

Secondly, Santorum has a shot still. Remember the Rat Primary 1992? Clinton was way at the back of the pack. A total joke running to get his name known. As the frontrunners chewed themselves up and the base voters lost interest in them, Slick snuck in and started winning Primaries.

That's true. But Clinton, say what you will about him, had a special gift. I can still remember seeing him on C-Span, all those years ago, in a gymnasium in NH. I was in my 20s, a noob to politics and life in general. I was already a freedom loving anti-socialist, but I could see that Clinton had talent, and I judged at that moment he would be reckoned with. Santorum, whatever his charms, doesn't rise to that level. Sorry, he just doesn't have "it."

After debates, Rick gets a bump in the polls after people hear what he has to say. He is not out of this till he waives the white flag.

That's fine. Support him all you want. He's got no shot. Zero. You might as well be pissant pimping old what's his name--Duncan Hunter?

We are in the same age bracket. I was in college when Slick got elected in ‘92. Out of 30+ brothers in our house, there were only 2 that voted Bush. Me and one other guy. Today, most of those guys are right wingers. Paying taxes and raising kids wakes people up, and some of those guys were almost Socialists 20 years ago.

I get what you are saying but the difference between me and good ol’ Pissy is that once Santorum is out, I will move on to the most viable Conservative we can find. Probably Cain, if the $#!t hits the fan, Perry. Can’t do Myth right now and until Christie or Palin get in, I don’t even care about them. The grass is always greener for some but I will work with what I got to choose from. For crying out loud there are people pining for Jeb Bush in editorials.

BTW, the wife and I are heading out to dinner with friends who usually drag us out to the clubs. I should be good and tuned up when I get back. If I have the wherewithal to type, I will be spinning some gold on FR. You will have to check back later to see what that train wreck looks like. LOL.
