Guess you meant “allow” to = “force”? They’re beginning to understand the liability he is to the party. It’ll be rough for ‘em, though. If he goes, they look racist (which they are, but that’s another story). If he stays, they lose the election. What to do? (”Jeopardy” music plays...)
If he does it willingly, it would be allowed, by mutual agreement and accomodation. :)
