Ok, brief report. The crowd was about 50 people at the 1:20 show. I have to say my wife and I were among the youngest there and we are in our upper 50s, but that’s during work hours on a nice sunny afternoon.
My wife said there were times when the detail was a little too much but there were times when she got chills. For her, it was the trajectory of her and McCain (not a fan) topping Obama after she was named the VP selectee, and how the Lehman collapse reversed the momentum. She said it made it obvious how some powers that be were going to influence the election.
My thoughts are more complex. I guess the movie really brings home her competence and leadership. The pipeline was a huge accomplishment. They hearken to Reagan, and I’m a sucker for that.
The statement that that makes is that we don’t need to be led by the establishment shammers. We are a strong people and we can produce leaders that can master the challenges of leading the nation. The establishment couldn’t stop Reagan, what will they continue to do to stop Palin.
God help us we need to have more like her and Reagan.
Thank you very much for the feedback on the documentary.
