Here in Canada, we get upset if an election period lasts more than 7 weeks — start to finish. I don’t know how you can stand 18 month campaigns (and a lot of people were insisting that candidates declare months ago — making for a 2 year long election period).
I think it’s just because we’re so desparate to get rid of Obama.
