You have a lot more confidence in the American electorate than do I.

I see no indication that they’ll vote for a conservative like Palin, especially given that they voted for Barack Hussein Obama a mere 2.5 years ago.

Yes, I am basically saying that America is doomed.

2010 would be a better metric. Don't believe the occupation media. The purpose of the DNC "media" is to suppress voter turnout and demoralize the conservative base. Who are more motivated? The conservative base or the welfare state base?

Look a little closer at what has happened in a "mere" two and 1/2 years:

1.  Obama has increased the national debt over 3 Trillion dollars

2.  Obama and his buddies in Congress forced a multi-trillion dollar health care monstosity down our throats, against the will of a significant majority of the people

3.  The "vote for the historical moment of electing our first Black President" lemming mentality has lost its lustre

4.  The 2010 midterms were historic in and of themselves and showed a clear repudiation of Obama's policies

5.  The unemployment rate has increased over 50% from when he was elected in '08, and shows no signs that it will go down in the forseeable future

6.  The price of gasoline has almost doubled under his "watch"

7.  Obama has recently comitted several foreign affairs blunders (throwing Israel under the bus, supporting the uprisings/instability in the Middle East, etc)

8.  Obama has put tens of thousands of oil rig workers (and affiliated businesses) out of work with his handling of the BP oil spill, moratoriam on drilling, etc.

I could list a number of other things that have turned off both the right and the left, but the point is that there are likely a LOT of people who voted for Obama in 2008 who are "in play" in 2012.

A Sarah Palin candidacy could surprise a lot of people.  Sure, it could be that a Palin ticket might not win, but I wouldn't bet against it (I learned my lesson when I believed the "conventinal wisdom" when Reagan ran in 1979).

You don't think the majority have buyer's regret with the media driving that election? I'm still floored that only seven years after 9/11 - Americans would vote for a man named Barack Hussein Obama and knew nothing about him other than his color. What makes people so damn dumb? If they were families members, I'd disown them for life.

Yes, I am basically saying that America is doomed

' I say we have one last shot. SARAH is our ONLY answer - she will shake things up and flip this country over to it's rightful owners 'We the People" - and the boys club and power hungry mongers know it - that's why they (rino's and candidates) kept quiet hoping the media will take her down. It will not be business as usual. Drill baby drill - I'm sure will be a top priority. She has a servant's heart - to serve Americans and bring back the pride of being the greatest nation in the world. She bows to no one. Will we have the opportunity to vote for a known fighter against this commie administration who spits on our Constitution? I sure hope so. And I hope we have fighters out there who ignore the propaganda that will be thrown about - and keep pressing forward with our eyes on the goal and not the media.

"I see no indication that they’ll vote for a conservative like Palin, especially given that they voted for Barack Hussein Obama a mere 2.5 years ago."

Here's the deal. The large group of voters in the middle that decide presidential elections don't have a politics. The economy determines their vote. If the economy is good, they'll let the incumbent stay. If it's bad, out he goes. It doesn't matter who run against him. That is how Obama won in '08. The economy was in the tank and McCain was Bush 2. Obama was the outsider. To quote someone who won twice, "It's the economy, stupid." It always is.

Sarah will run a great campaign. I can hardly wait. Whether she can win depends on the state of the economy in November 2012.
