John Wayne he is not.

Well he did pull a pistol out of his joggin clothes and shoot a coyote. Not bad for a former Democrat.

Maybe Texas could share him with the other 56 states and we could get another governor.

Yeah, that Barack Obama was a household name prior to his running for the Presidency.

Little things like that have kept us from having an income tax, personal property tax, and higher sales taxes.

I beg to differ. Those of us in Bandera County have had property taxes doubled 2 years in a row by mandate from Austin. Quite a few of us are ready to revolt.

He sure beats the current resident.

That's setting the bar pretty low.

He fits right in with the Austin crowd - very smoooooooth talker. Voted for him for Gov but didn’t seem like we had a better choice. But then the Governor in Texas doesn’t have as much power as some in other states. While we are certainly a whole lot better off than many states, we are still in a lot of trouble and Mexico inches closer every day. Certainly would never vote for him for President.

Is he the governor from Texas who wanted to force girls to take that vaccine and it finally came out that he had something to gain by it?

Maybe he just knows what kind of morals the women around have.

So what do you think of Rick Perry?
I think the sooner he's back into private life the better.

International globalist (who is my governor). Big supporter of NAFTA super highway that was going to send Texas taxpayer funded road tolls to Spain. Super lax on border security, likes to talk the talk, but zero action on the ground. He fits right in with the rest of the RINO’s that say what the base wants to hear and then marches to the tune of the globalist agenda.

Recently, after getting stomped by the grassroots on the NAFTA super highway and having KBH run ad after ad on that fiasco, he suddenly decided to act tough and had a couple good speeches that were nationally qouted. That just means he is a smooth politician like Clinton who adjusted to the new landscape very quickly when he realized the precarious position he was in. I don’t trust anything he says.

Democrats sometimes vote for new, exciting, fresh, untested.
McGovern, Carter, Clinton, Obama
sometimes they go with top
Mondale, Gore, Kerry.

Republicans go for top.

What’s up with Rick Perry?

I live in Texas, and I am a Conservative, NOT a RINO.

If you are are RINO, RIck Boy is your man!

Let’s See

1) Multiple times tried or did sell Texas Land and/or Development contracts to foreign firms (CINTAS) while a close relative is the lobbyist for them. The Trans Texas Corridor is but one example. Others slipped under the radar (current LBJ 635 redo in Dallas is another). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trans-Texas_Corridor

2) Tried to force Texas schoolgirls to get vaccinated for STDs using a vaccine later removed from the market (Guardasil). Even Obama didn’t try that. And relatives connected to that one, too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gardasil

3) Does not send / deploy National Guard (under his control) and/or Texas resources, rangers, etc to the border but “complains” the Federal Gov. not doing enough....Compare to Arizona where THEY have gotten serious

4) I don’t like FRAT BOYS

5) We don’t need 70s Hair in office (I am firm in this regard, I reject Trump also).

6) Begs the prospect of a “Pretty Boy Ticket” Trump/Perry 2012!!! The Polyester Party. Maybe they can team up with Malibu Barbie and have a Party!

So Kay Bailey H. was able to run to the right of him? If RINO KBH can run right of him, he must be an uber RINO extraordinaire. I was not going to consider voting for him because I knew of the Trans corridor thing and his love of all things illegal alien, but getting beat by KBH, that seals the deal for me. No way I will ever vote for him and I will make sure everyone I know who even considers voting for him hears all about his illustrious history.

Perry just passed Concealed carry on campus, He just passed Voter ID, He just passed Pork Chopper (shooting feral hogs from the air)

Perry isnt perfect but he is far more conservative than many here are giving him credit for.

I lived in Texas (until recently) since Perry has been Governor. I think he has done a good job and certainly would be a better qualified President than Obama. Hope he runs, he would have my vote. Grey Eagle

Americans are paying far more in taxes at every level than they should. I agree that it could be worse, but that isn’t saying much.
