Walker is certainly a rising star but I think a foundation in Wisconsin needs laying for the states sake. Perry was Lt.Governor under Bush when everyone was blasting Bush about how weak the Governor's office is and that the power rests on the Lt. Governor. I also like how Perry has actually fought Obama, the EPA and Federal over reaching into state affairs. He also isn't liked much by the Bush's (Kay Bailey was endorsed over Rick by GHW) and he has a proven record on jobs. He can simply say “Here is what Texas has done in 4 years and here is what you have done”. I also like that he flew a C130 and didn't go to Yale or Harvard.
