>>> Last Thursday, the day of the first GOP debate, one of Paul’s fabulously-labeled “money bombs” exploded with the announcement of $1 million in contributions for the Paul campaign.

Like this one.

February 21st, 2011: Ron Paul Money Bomb going on right now! $550 000 raised so far & counting!

Get used to it, because Stormfront ALWAYS supports a Republican. If it weren't Ron Paul, it would be Mitt Romney or Sarah Palin or Michele Bachman or whoever is running for the Republicans. Only when it's Ron Paul, does it get any attention with an "Oh my God, Stormfront supports Ron Paul!"

You could not pay me enough to vote for Ron Paul. Could. Not. Not even if he was the last man standing against Obama. If we ever get to that point where it’s Obama vs. Paul, then just stick a fork in us then.

I will never forgive that loon for going on about how 9/11 was our own fault. Never.

Paul does not stack up best candidate who can beat Obama when you objectively consider all the evidence.

If that's true, then it's a fair assessment. I'm used to multiple Freepers doing synchronized 360 degree head turns and barfing pea soup whenever Ron Paul's name even gets mentioned.

But then there is the sniff test. I have never seen a single televised Democrat even give Romney or Huck the time of day, let alone a respectful interview. (Frankly, I'd have to hold my nose and fight back the gag reflex to vote for either of them, and I'm not a Democrat.) Besides Juan Williams, I've seen other left leaning news people treat Ron Paul with respect. RP was on The View and DIDN'T get roasted by the Macbeth witches. And I have friends who are die-hard Democrats who've told me, "I'd have to hold my nose when I see the R by his name, but he's the first Republican I'd vote for. So who & what to believe?

Until that Rasmussen poll last year, everyone kept saying "Ron Paul is a two percenter". Now we're debating whether he'd fare best against Obama or not. Wherever he is at, he's on the way up, not on the way down.

I'm currently reading his book, "Liberty Defined". Whether you love him or hate him, it's an important primer for the average person on just what Liberty means -- and on just what it costs.

I think that RP made an important point the other night in the debate when he said, "Americans really need to decide what they want from their government". It's true. Until we can collectively decide what we want from our government, we will never be happy with any president or elected official, because politicians can't be all things to all people no matter how much they try.

Perhaps so, perhaps not. However, it IS Ron Paul with whom they side. He is their first choice. The Nazis have been in his corner for years. That will be noticed.

When the Democrats are trying to throw someone like Ron Paul at us, you know they're a little worried. :)

Maybe they've figured out that we won't support Mitt.

Well, we conservatives won't support a leftie like Ron Paul, either.

It’s fun to watch Juan flinched when Britt Hume slaps him around.

Juan reads the NYT and WaPo and repeats the latest MSM narrative for 2 million a year on Fox. I could do that if I was black.

How anyone still listens to Juan Williams is beyond me....next he will be asserting that if we do not increase the debt ceiling, we will not only have an apocalypse but our eyes will be pulled from our heads....=.=

I don’t really agree with Paul on much, but I don’t go apoplectic at the mention of his name. I would have to disagree that Paul is on his way up; I think he has stalled out, because his polling this year is similar to his polling in 2007-2008. It’s essentially the same group of supporters.

Surprising, given that our current corporatist system under Obama is the closest that they are ever going to get to Nazi socialism. I'd think that the Nazis actually ought to support Obama.

Ron Paul is for individuals being treated as individuals under the law, irrespective of race, creed or color. He is AGAINST people being treated as "protected classes" and groups who get special privileges just because they are minorities as they are now. Now is Ron Paul's philosophy going to attract some racists because they like the idea that minorities are no longer going to be subsidized and catered to? Yes, but perhaps that's the tiniest corner of the universe in which Stormfront may have a point.

That's really not true. You might argue that RP can't win against Obama and maybe some might polls for other Republicans against Obama might poll close or better than him, especially for the Republican nomination, but Ron Paul's polls are nowhere as low as they were in 2008. His support has grown exponentially, especially since the collapse of the economy and the growth of the Tea Party.

How many of the Republican candidates have young people writing theme songs for them? Jordan Page "The Light of Revolution" (Ron Paul 2012 song)

If we compare his 2008 poll numbers to his 2012 poll numbers, his numbers are looking similar to where he finished in 2008, which is why I say he is stalling. Paul is a known quantity in the GOP primary, and I don't see much room for him to grow (especially with another libertarian in the field). And his support among the Tea Party voters in the early primary states is anemic.

I think that you misunderstand me and are comparing apples and oranges.

I said earlier I DON'T think that Ron Paul will get the Republican nomination. His support there hasn't grown much at all because, as you put it, 'to Republicans, Ron Paul already is a known quantity".

But there are a lot of independents and disillusioned-with-Obama Democrats where Ron Paul has grown exponentially in support -- many of whom wouldn't touch a Romney, Huckabee or a Palin with a ten foot pole, yet who would vote for Ron Paul IN SPITE OF him being a Republican.

I think that a Romney or a Huckabee or even a Herman Cain (who could come out of nowhere) could rise to the Republican nomination, but I don't think that any of these have a snowball's chance in hell of beating Obama by getting the necessary crossover votes.

Ron Paul's most recent book, Liberty Defined, made both the Amazon and NYT (#5 Hardcover Non-fiction) Best Seller lists. Somebody is buying these books, either because they are already a fan or because they want to know more abouthim.
