The article wasn’t bad until here:

Wrong. His waffling might get him into trouble, but a “sticks to his guns” President who other countries think is a bit of a loose cannon gets his way. See Reagan.
Also, he doesn’t have to open the US’s wallet to buy support. He just has to threaten to close the wallet.
PS I do NOT want Trump, but he would be infinitely better than Obama.
That point in the article is where I began to smell the stench of insider Washington beltwayitis.
