There are relatively few of that “caliber”, but most at that "level" have a failure or two prior to ultimate and long lasting success, so your point, while being moot in this discussion, is understood.

However, that was never my point in the first place, remember? My point was multiple bankruptcies, four that I'm aware of, and not at the beginning of his "career", but at points in time where he supposedly would have learned by then. He is very loose with other peoples money despite the fact that he is personally very wealthy, and that is a trait we already have an excess of in Congress

That is only one of the reasons I have no intention of voting for Trump, and I spelled out others in an earlier post. Voting for him is voting against my conscience, and if you and those of your mindset do elect him POTUS, you will get exactly what you deserve, IMO.

Just like all those voters for Obama are getting exactly what they deserve whether they like it or not, and it seems to me that more and more Obama voters are not liking what they got whether they admit it or not. Lastly, I do not trust that man one iota, and I remember the same sense of distrust for another POTUS back in the late 70's, although the mistrust was for vastly different reasons.

As mentioned I do understand your point but I will not hold Trumps business failures against him in light of the many successes he does have. Again, his familiarity on both sides of that equation is a plus factor for me...and I doubt if he was purposely “loose” with other peoples money, though many can and do read what they will into that either way. Without our knowing and understanding the dynamics which occurred in those businesses we can at most only speculate why that route was taken.....as you mentioned “supposedly learned” by then? I doubt very much if Trump wallows long in his dealings if at all, rather more business is business, you cut your losses and move on.

Besides if Trump was that lose with peoples money he certainly wouldn't have recovered as he did and continues to operate worldwide. People would have avoided him altogether. That does not at all seem to be the case.

Comparing Obama with Trump is none sense....there are vast distinctions between them...like hot and cold water....Trump is for our nation Obama is clearly opposed. As I said I don't think Trump will run the full election course but if he does and voters vote for him ....then that is what they do. Trumps certainly a far cry from what's in there now....furthermore trust in our day has many and varied meanings... you don't trust him with money..fine...others will and do also fine. But most of all he is for our nation and most of what we love...for that he's a winner where ever he serves.
