The interesting thing about the Wollman Rink story is that I had completely forgotten about it. But then Rush had Trump on his show and Trump talked about how he was embarrassed for our country that we were holding State Dinners in a tent. Trump said he approached someone high in this Administration who he didn't name, and offered to build a $100 mil facility, at his expense, in Washington where these dinners could more fashionably be held. He was turned down. I hadn't heard of this before nor I have I heard of it since, but it reminded me of how he stepped in in the Wollman Rink fiasco.

Could Trump be a stalking horse for another candidate or is my tinfoil too tight?

I agree with you. My point is that we have no “bigger than life” leaders the likes of Trump, and he is performing a valuable service to us in shaking things up. He’s led a very public life - we know where his warts are. The MSM can’t touch him. The RINOs can tell him to shut up, and then what? What are the RINOs going to do about it when he *doesn’t* shut up.

What’s Boehner doing with the mandate we gave him? Let The Donald goad the RINOs into fighting.

Schwarzenegger couldn’t hold a candle to Trump, although Trump’s politics in the long run is something I would not trust.

Trump may have come of age. He has a toddler and a young wife and wants to see a non-socialistic future for them in these United States. He has always been pro American. He professes to be pro marriage and pro life. I've recently heard him say that he is for a strong national defense. He wants free trade with China and with other countries. For example, China needs to increase the value of the Yuan to alleviate the huge trade imbalance, and is one of a possible number of reasons he has threaten China with tariffs. Trump believes in a merit based society. You only have to look at his life and his TV show where the contestants win or lose based on decisions of economics performance and common sense.

He has the big bucks plus the charisma to brush off the main stream media's leftist hogwash. He's not an easy guy to intimidate. I can't say that for any other politician. Donald Trump has a lot going for him and at the pace he is campaigning, it won't be long before he is out in front of the pack.

I don’t think there is anybody else in the country right now who could come out and challenge Barry on the BC and get away with it. Only Trump. Whatever his motivation I will forever grateful to him.

Yup. I like that he takes it to the media, and they can’t just label and dismiss him as an extremist The media is the Fifth Column - of that there can be no doubt.

I am waiting for Trump to make the following fact more widely known to the media-illiterati :

“The State Democratic Party of Hawaii would not certify in 2008 that Obama was constitutionally and legally eligible for the Office of President.” Nancy Pelosi had to certify this guy.

Trump may have come of age.

I duuno, my FRiend...you could be absolutly correct.

Trump has an interesting past, to say the least.

I applaud any one who has the "temerity" to question obama's past but anyone who states they will invest 600 million of their own money to become POTUS is suspect to me.

You only have to look at his life and his TV show where the contestants win or lose based on decisions of economics performance and common sense.

Trump is a business man, what kind of return would one have to expect back for that kind of investment?

It really is sad when you have to question the motives of people who wish to obtain a job that pays so little compared to the investment...or does it?

Just thinking out loud, don't know what to think or even believe anymore....sad days.

Well said!

Trump, by his own words, has said he knows how to do “business”

He contributed money to Rahmbo, Schmucky to “git er done”

No thanks, we need to get rid of that kind of “crony”( obama) Capitalism IMHO.
