I believe it will get even better from here on out.
Our side is clearly being more careful who we pick this time around!

Obama looks like a little girl - with those girly legs and big knees. When he wears shorts he looks like he stepped off the set of the movie “Meatballs.”

Any time there is an article about Barbour or Christie, too many people write them off because of their weight or in Barbour's case, because of his accent. That's a mistake. I don't think Americans will knee-jerk vote against someone who is heavy or has a strong accent. The Libs will make fund of Barbour as the reincarnation of “Boss Hogg” but that won't go too far. He's a smart guy and would come across well in a debate. I'd rather have Barbour debating the Big 0 than another situation like we had with the photogenic Dan Quayle looking like a deer in the headlights with Lloyd Bentsen.

People in Mississippi these days just keep their fingers crossed that their homestead isn’t on a piece of property some corporate giant wants for their next plant.

I believe Haley’s a serious candidate. But so are most of the contenders (sorry, Mr. Trump). You can be a serious candidate and still lose the nomination. In fact, given that there’s more than one serious candidate in the race (yes, including her), that’s going to happen to most of them.

Oh for sure. He should only wear suits. He looks pathetic in shorts.

Well plus the fact that Corzine had ruined Jersey too.....but you do have a point. If he won the Republican nomination I would not say another word about his weight. But we are only talking here and Sarah is going to get the nomination anyway so I don’t feel that horrible discussing this on our site.

Oh PAH -LEEEZE.
Just so we remember, Haley Barbour turned his back on Reagan in 1979 and campaigned for Connally. His comment was “I supported Reagan last time but now he’s too OLD.”
I’m sure - he received orders from the GOP machine.

I'd vote for Haley...fat, drawl and all. America could use a non-PC Prez.
Barbour could very well be the best one out there on the issues and the one with the most America-centred vision.
Go Haley!
To: Artemis Webb
I disliked Barbour as chair of the RNC but this article claims he’s been a good governor (serving his full term too!) and, frankly, we could use that kind of person in the White House in 2012. I’m willing to give him a look despite his baggage.

“I really dont think the people of the US are going to elect a fat, red-faced, white-haired Southern man,”
I didn’t think they were going to elect a jug-eared nonentity with a name like “Barack Hussein Obama,” either.

“Barbour is easily the most connected of all Republican candidates. He knows every governor, most legislators, all the fundraisers. He is well-liked. “
I just don’t see that as a plus for the rest of us.

Sarah Palin has squandered her fame...Then why in the world is she talked about 24/7/365? Not a single day goes by without a Sarah Palin article from somewhere.
