This guy is a racist. He probably does not even know that he's actually describing someone of the same traits as Obama. Obama does not have black American culture in his history therefore he does not have the black American dialect (this lacking of dialect as referred to by Meher about republicans’ type of “black people”) Obama talks like a lawyer. He is not "black American" anymore than the Somalis are.

Me too. On some level Maher has to know that Barack Obama is the ultimate example of the "safe" black male, the kind that a white liberal wouldn't be afraid to invite to a dinner party. He's half white, he's professorial, and he wears mom jeans.

I wonder where this Maher guy goes, that he sees only scary black people. I’m sure we all have friends, neighbors, co-workers, fellow parishioners and classmates who are different than us ... unless we are the kind of rich liberal who lives in an all-white neighborhood and only sees minorities as TV characters.

Oh, wait ...
