Probably Crawford. He would just need to hop in his car to get to the RNC offices.

He knows the way...LOL. He was interim finance chairman of the RNC under Michael Steele until he got sacked when the Beltway types (led by James Bopp (see below) started going after Steele.

BTW, going forward, you'll hear the name of James Bopp a lot. He's the Indiana GOP Chair and Priebus will rely on him heavily. This part of the article stuck raised lots of red flags (my editorial comments in brackets]

"Priebus has tapped Indiana GOP committeeman James Bopp [big Romney guy], an outspoken conservative on the committee, to lead an effort examining if the RNC could play a role in sifting through some of the debate proposals [IOTW, how can we slant this process towards "our" candidates]. One campaign source familiar with the discussion expressed concern about the prospect of the committee sanctioning debates, noting that every candidate would have a different interest in determining what forums they’d attend.

[I can almost gurantee you that was Palin's rep expressing that concern]

Another campaign official, however, said it was merely a suggestion floated about how to bring some order to what could be a chaotic debate season. [Yeah, right]

Larson said they were not attempting to intervene, but only wanted to be of assistance.

I've seen reports that the RNC is already trying to shuffle Iowa out of the front of the primary line. Now this report they're trying to influence the debates (just trying to help, doncha know}.

Michael Steele might soon say to the anti-establishment candidates in the race: "Do ya miss me yet?" LOLOL.

I don't miss him!

I was a supporter of Michael Steele and was very disappointed with him. He used his position to promote himself. He was a huge embarrassment.

I only hope this new bunch does a better job...they can't do much worse, IMO.
