I would love to see Newt mano-n-mano with Obama in a debate.

I think the Newt bashing is undeserved.
We should be grateful.
Imagine where we would be if Newt had never existed and we would have been better off if he had never resigned.
His ugly personal life was Clintonesque and he supports amnesty and global warming kookery, but Newt has been a net benefit to this country, and he is one of the few Republicans who can bitch slap any liberal into the middle of next week when it comes to debating issues.

For sure, Newt has made mistakes and he is not perfect, but in case you haven’t noticed, the Virgin Mary isn’t running for POTUS in 2012.
In a one-on-one debate with Obama, Newt would squash him like a fat bug!
