McCain, Palin Appear to Be Split on Obama
ABC News ^ | January 15, 2011 | John Berman

Posted on 01/15/2011 7:54:03 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

There appears to be a serious difference opinion at the top of the 2008 Republican ticket, with John McCain and Sarah Palin split on the issue of President Obama.

Much has been written about turmoil and infighting during that campaign. But the conflict now has nothing to do with politics in 2008, and everything to do with the direction of the Republican Party in 2011. One says the president actively wants to help America, the other, actively hurt it.

In Sunday's Washington Post, Sen. McCain wrote an Op-Ed lavishing praise on President Obama for his speech Wednesday night in Tucson. "President Obama gave a terrific speech Wednesday night," the senator wrote, "[he] "comforted and inspired the country."

And in notably gracious language, McCain added, ""I disagree with many of the president's policies, but I believe he is a patriot sincerely intent on using his time in office to advance our country's cause."

Read that carefully. He called President Obama a "patriot" who wants to "advance our country's cause."(continued@link)

McSTAIN needs to dry up and blow away.
I never have liked that two-bit phony.
He is the poster boy for everything that is wrong with the Republican party.
He might as well join the neo-Marxist party.

I have always know the split on opinion.

However, this plays well for Palin. Maybe those who hold McCain against her will see that she was nothing but a good foot soldier for him. She is her own person now.

John Berman has to write something whether he has any thing important to say or not. The same thing goes for many of these writers.

It’s called “Loyalty” and I wish the Palinoia Posse would look it up in the dictionary.

McCai had his nose in Obama’s butt the whole time he was running for President.

It’s one reason he lost.

McCain hasn’t changed a bit. Arizona was either asleep or crazed to re-elect him.

Obama is no patriot.

And McCain is a senile fool.

McCain: Either is naive and clueless in the extreme or he's a deceitful RINO traitor pretending to be conservative.

Media quackery!

Palin is saying what she thinks, McCain is saying what the media wants- just so they can script garbage like this.

They both know he’s a dangerous fool.

Doesn't matter much what McCain thinks now. He is history, and a really bad chapter at that. Mc Cain is yesterday, Palin is tomorrow. No contest.

Try "none of the above." McCain is a mental basketcase, PTSD and Stockholm Syndrome from the captivity, exacerbated by advancing senile dementia.

They all say what the media wants, except for Palin, which is why they hate her and attack her.

Btw, where was McCain's statement defending her this week?

And Romney? Did he not think millions of Tea Party citizens, and Palin need defending?

How about Rove..on TV 7 nights a week...except last week?

Pence?

Christie slammed her and praised Obama as usual...he is useless.

T-Paw slammed her..then backtracked.

Jeb Bush slammed conservatives in general, and praised the media.

Where was Bobby Jindal?

Bunch of sissies.
