Does the General Court have a Committee on Counties? Look at the numbers after you ask for them or get them by other means. You and I have run crews most of our lives, sometimes the specter of a watcher with experience can upset a few people.

There is a standing committee on Municipal and County Government. My father was on it many years ago. I doubt if it would have anything to do with this situation.
