Among Republicans; Romney beat McCain 34 - 33; but among crossovers; McCain beat Romney 40 -34. It was enough to give McCain the victory. A CLOSED primary might have had a different result.

Personally; I would like to see South Carolina and New Hampshire flip primary dates.

I don’t really give a flip about our primary and all the attention we get. Anybody that gets all excited about polls a year or more out really needs to get a different hobby. I hate polls in general anyway.
And anyone who thinks Sarah Palin is “inevitable” is severely delusional. She hasn’t even said she’s going to run yet, for crying out loud, and I’m guessing she won’t.

New Hampshire should be disqualified and placed at the end of the calendar.

The fact NH allows democrats to vote in the republican primary means that should have no say whatsoever.
