My wife is a lifelong Republican who has never voted for a Democrat in her life. But she just hates Palin with a passion. To be honest, I think it's largely typical female cattiness, but she claims it's because Palin supposedly sounds not very smart, and rather goofy.
I'm not defending that point of view, but I am saying that a vote against Palin -- or refusing to cast a vote in her favor -- need not be based on rational thought or solid reasoning to count. Now personally, I'm not a fan, but there's no question that I'd support her over any Democrate. My wife says that if Palin is the nominee, she'll just not vote. And I don't think she's alone, because there are a lot of emotions out there surrounding Palin.
I do think she's portrayed unfairly by a lot of folks, but fairness doesn't count when it comes to actually counting ballots. And I personally think she'd have a difficult time getting a majority.
She has a very very low rating among independents. She cannot win without them.
She has a high approval among republicans.
Sounds like someone needs to start paying attention. When one is a life long republican and can get past the leftist diatribe that should set off an alarm. Sarah Palin has the ear of literally millions of people not very smart and goofy people don't accomplish that!!!
And what is the reason your wife won’t vote for Palin?
It really ticks me off when we have elected true morons like Obama, Palin, Pelosi, Reid - and somehow we have allowed people to say stupid things about Sarah Palin?
Your wife would prefer a government run by Barack Obama rather than the policies of Sarah Palin? Just incredible.
(No offense to the wife).
At least your wife wouldn’t vote for Obama instead. At least she is NOT a traitor as many of Mike Castle supporters were in voting for Coons over O’Donnell.
But she just hates Palin with a passion. To be honest, I think it's largely typical female cattiness
You need to beat your wife more often. S/off
