While I support Palin, I am sure a lot won’t vote for her because she quit.

My wife said as much. People don’t want a quitter in the presidency.

That said, I think she would be a good candidate and those situations are unusual.

Nope, not really, only people who normally just listen to CNN or MSNBC or people who are already supporting other candidate.

That line about her being one, is about as dumb and desperate as it gets.

IMHO, she didn't "quit", but stepped aside for the good of the state because the controversy (probes, family issues) surrounding her were affecting her ability to govern, which is admirable. She stated that clearly in a WaPo article.
