In my opinion, and it is just that, the ads are effective in portraying Kasich as guilty by association in the Lehman Brothers mess. To my knowledge, Kasich was never implicated in the scandal, so to me, the accusation in the ads are a lie, but a lie none the less can be effective in a close election. I believe Kasich is not the perfect conservative candidate. His 2nd admendment record and ties to the old guard GOP are troubling, but that having been said, his election is imperative for the future of Ohio and the nation in 2010 and 2012.

I think those ads are very troublesome. I live in Cincinnati, but watch Dayton stations (since I don’t have cable). There are approximately 10 ads a night on the CBS affliate with no answer from Kasich.
