John Kasich and Lehman Brothers

Posted on 10/28/2010 6:07:53 AM PDT by reaganator

The Strickland campaign is pounding the Kasich/Lehman Brothers connection really hard. Strickland is an Obaminite who will support the socialist marxists no matter what. As they believe, Strickland also believes even more government intervention is needed. Not only has Strickland allowed the destructor-in-chief to campaign for him, he has also allowed the former President who actually committed felonies in an attempt to fix a court case against an American citizen to campaign for him also. Strickland is a obviously lying scoundrel. Since many voters affected by sound bite campaign adds I wonder how effective this theme of "Kasich ruined Ohio retirement plans and made himself wealthy working for Lehman Brothers" will be. And will someone please attempt to cut through this mess and acurately layout the story on this?

In my opinion, and it is just that, the ads are effective in portraying Kasich as guilty by association in the Lehman Brothers mess. To my knowledge, Kasich was never implicated in the scandal, so to me, the accusation in the ads are a lie, but a lie none the less can be effective in a close election. I believe Kasich is not the perfect conservative candidate. His 2nd admendment record and ties to the old guard GOP are troubling, but that having been said, his election is imperative for the future of Ohio and the nation in 2010 and 2012.

I think those ads are very troublesome. I live in Cincinnati, but watch Dayton stations (since I don’t have cable). There are approximately 10 ads a night on the CBS affliate with no answer from Kasich.

I’m asking questions, trying to learn. Who am I giving a hard time?
You mentioned that you were displeased with Kasich’s history concerning the 2nd amendment.
Since I knew nothing of this, I asked you to share what you knew.
