Dems are very concerned that Christine will infringe on their right to masturbate. It seems to be their primary issue.

The number one reason is that if she loses, they will be represented by a self-proclaimed Marxist. It’s one thing to be a Marxist. It’s another thing to admit it.

She’s a well-spoken individual, who is comfortable in the public spotlight, and doesn’t mind talking about herself in ways that don’t sound like she is hiding things.

If anything can save her, it’s that when she speaks, it is almost impossible to have an image of her as some right-wing ideologue nutjob. She just sounds normal.

Hopefully, with the money she has, she can make sure every voter hears her. That might be enough to overcome the negative attacks and media onslaught.

I still think she’ll lose, but it will be fun watching her work to win, and worth every penny.

Yes but, will those five reasons give pause to the Christine bashers on this site? I fear not, they are hell bent on pointing out what a loser she is and a nutty one at that.

Christine is a worrisome candidate and, unless things get immediately resolved at her initiative, the entirety of this is going to be a down-ballot disaster in DE. Witness today her past words regarding “dabbling in witchcraft” — this will not play well in DE, regardless of the state of the economy. Her cancellation on Fox News Sunday is a sign of concern or perhaps a need to get re-organized before she says something additionally stupid.

I wish Christine well, and I have encouraged people to vote for her. That said, in the determination to punish Castle, the GOP has most likely been left with a deeply compromised candidate. Not paying your mortgage or college loans is one thing; dabbling in witchcraft and discussing masturbation will not play well in DE. O’Donnell has been insufficiently vetted, and more relavations are yet to come.

To all freepers: I am asking ALL of my friends and family to vote for O’Donnell. However, Castle would have waltzed into the Senate seat for an immediate +1 GOP seat for the GOP. Castle would have served four years of the Biden term and then retired. He would NOT have switched parties. And, given Castle’s war chest, they were planning a $5 MM GOTV for ALL GOP candidates in DE, including conservative Colin Bonini and numerous House conservative GOP challengers. We actually had a shot at reclaiming the DE House this cycle; that is now likely gone. Every conservative local candidate has told me that with Castle gone, it is now every man for himself, and zero help from the top of the ticket.

I am sure that many non-DE conservatives are thrilled that Castle is gone. Our local GOP candidates, however, are now in serious jeopardy.

Given the new trouble Murkowski is now causing in Alaska, having a safe GOP pick up in DE might also have been nice.

I am sure many on this site bitterly disagree with me, but I would rather have a GOP senator with a 99 percent of being elected who agrees with me 60 percent of the time than taking a chance on a long-shot who agrees with me 100 percent of the time. If Coons is elected, as is now likely, we’ll be saddled with another RAT who agrees with us zero percent of the time.

I hope I am proven wrong on November 2.

I believe we would have been saddled with another Rat like the current one in Alaska or the one running as an independent in Florida, the former Republican in Pa, or Snowe and her buddy.

If the property taxes under Combs are as I have read (and assuming no reassessments based on lower property values) that is something that everyone in NCC can relate to. Services are being cut at the same time that taxes have gone up.

That is an issue that Christine should hammer away at. Obviously, if Combs has been responsible for tax increases at the county level when people are being squeezed in other ways financially, predicting his voting in congress can be forecast.

People vote their pocketbook. Perhaps that is why Christine had such a great victory Tuesday.

You do realize that the witchcraft comment came when she was on an MTV show in 1990 when she was 21 years old. The producers were trying to get ratings on a reality show.

The problem with having a RINO voting 60% of the time with you is that those 60% votes are always the ones that no one really cares about, like voting to make February a “Black History” month. When it is a very important bill then Castle would always vote with the Rats, giving them cover for the failed policies. Then you know what happens, the public blames the GOP and never the RINO.

I say remove all RINOs from the GOP. Force them to join the the RAT fascist party and then let them get the blame for the disaster that always follows.
