Nope, she was on HER boat catching Sockeye salmon for commercial purposes. Her and Todd have owned a gillnet operation in Bristol Bay for years. It was not staged, it was real life and thousands of Alaskan residents do it. Ti keep the commercial license, you have to catch a certain amount in a certain amount of time.
