Sure, you of all people, know that is reality. So, how does one “buck” reality? You have to outsmart and outlast it. Being timid, and yes, holding to “principles” won’t break the dam. Sad, but this is war and “all is fair.....etc”. We are not going to turn the country around in one election cycle. It took the Progressives 100 years to get where they are. So, what are our options? Do we admit defeat and hold on to our principles, or do we fight with everything we can muster, including pragmatism, for as long as it takes?

No, we adhere to non-negotiable principles no matter what.

As George Washington said:

"Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair; the rest is in the hands of God."

If all the Christians in the country would simply do this, the nation would be transformed politically and governmentally practically overnight. We are still a majority you know.

But no, too many still listen to the constant siren song of the phony "pragmatists," who, while having a semblance of wisdom, are actually not wise at all. They're simply short-sighted and self-serving. And they're the ones who are primarily responsible for the fact that our free republic is being destroyed before our very eyes.
