Romney or Huckabee running could easily bring an Obama second term. Obama could probably yell “God Is Great”, cut off a head on public TV and would get reelected if you have Romney or Huckabee running IMO.

The "quitter" argument is the most ridiculous argument there is- particularly for a conservative. The problems we have with corrupt government stem only from those who cling to power or who serve power, not from those who are not so prideful that they cannot freely refrain from using it or pass when it is theirs for the taking. In fact, the only people who can be safely entrusted with power are those who do not want it.
There are many ways to serve the cause of liberty that are more effective than holding a particular office.
Rush Limbaugh has done more for liberty and life as a talk radio host than he could have done as a governor or legislator, for example. The founder of this website has similarly done more as a facilitator for ideas than he could have in office. There are countless authors and preachers and teachers and fighters and so on whose talents and sacrifices have furthered the cause in their unique ways while people with everything going for them, including powerful political positions and influence, have done great harm or have just spun their wheels.

I specifically addressed the "quitter" argument because it's a stupid argument.

Amidst all those projected elaborate responses to things I did not say, you forgot to tell me about your candidate. Please, tell us who, exactly, that candidate is because you seem to have someone perfect in mind: ..................................?
