August 10, 2010 -- Grammy-award winning artist Bryan White and Joe Miller for U.S. Senate have, out of respect for the passing of Senator Ted Stevens, cancelled their Fairbanks rally scheduled for 7 p.m. at Friend's Community Church tonight. That is a nice gesture. It would have been tacky to have the concert so soon after the death.

That’s too bad, in a city of 50,000, you don’t get much up there except a Governor with her son shipping off. All I saw was President Ford Taxi into a heated Hangar at Eielson AFB and Kissinger complained about his Mukluks and mittons at 60 below zero. Anchorage Chamber of Commerce gave him a $700.00 wolf parka and he gave it to the Chinese. Smart thinking, he would have been impeached immediately. Don’t get me wrong, I love Sarah.
