Her record does not support that perception. How can one be considered conservative who supported LOST, Cap and Trade and TARP? Anyone one of these would be a disqualifier for a political figure with whom conservatives did not have such an emotional attachment to. Sometimes people simply "see" what is not there. Case in point is the number of Americans who "saw" Obama as a moderate unifier.

Sorry, but the conservative movement disagrees with you, conservatives are Palin’s base, and the moderate wing of the GOP is trying to stop her for that reason.
