JUNEAU, Alaska Sarah Palin isn't going to fade away. Someone else in her position might have. Two years after the vice presidential nomination made her a star, the 2008 campaign is fading in memory. She's not even Alaska's governor anymore; she abruptly resigned that post a year ago. But she's evolved into an enduring political personality writ large and now the talk, growing louder, is of her own run for the White House in 2012.(continued)

She has my vote.
My vote and I will raise $2 million dollars for her.
What about her in 2012?
She could run for President, although I don’t know if voting will be allowed (counted) anymore.
We’ve already gotten rid of the need to vote on bills. Pelosi just ‘deems’ them passed.
We’ve skipped getting a vote on Top positions in government by replacing them with CZARS picked by obama.
Elections in various states are being decided by Judges and not the actual count of votes. (think Al Franken)
If the trend keeps up, the election will be done by a poll on the internet.
She wields the slingshot like David.
I COR 1:27
But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
She has a common sense approach. People have opportunity, stop wasting your time. You must get started even if it takes a quick kick in the pants. She knows it. It’s time to get back to that philosophy.
That's why liberals don't like her...if you expect government to carry you through life like you are a child you will not like Sarah Palin.
Yep. Government is trying to replace God. It is not going to work out.
What so many have shed blood for is now not even considered worthwhile by so many dumbed down idiots. The NEA has done it’s job...for a while...until we turn into Greece and can no longer afford the unions. Sooner or later it will end, those asleep will wake...but it’s going to be a very costly battle.
I dont really get the point of such an article. There is nothing new in it. The conventional wisdom in it is conventional, boring and likely wrong. I guess it fills up column inches and people are highly interested in Gov. Palin, but then write something of substance about her.
REV 3:2
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
She has to find unique new ways to communicate her platform to the American people. She will not receive one bit of help from the old media. In fact, they will try to destroy her.
We will have to do lots of paid tv commercials and lots of word of mouth. If she can continue to be spontaneous, that will help.
A month ago I would have said that Palin isn’t running and she’s happy supporting other candidates and making a difference. But with Obama fading fast and the more it looks like he’s beatable I think she’s in. For a woman the Iron Lady thing worked in England but IMO they have to strike before the aged wear inevitable shows to be viable in America. It’s not fair but it’s a reality.
Whoever runs in '12 HAS to be able to reach some of these people who voted for Obama and convince them that we must avoid the ascending tyranny (to paraphrase Mark Levin) that raises it's ugly head today.
This person will have many advantages in the form of failures that accrue from years of liberalism such as high unemployment, high taxes, economic paralysis, declining world power status, and just about every other malaise-inducing policy attributable to the Carter years. In short, it should be a field day. But it won't be.
Because Americans are lazy and ill-informed today, thanks mostly to the media who act in concert with efforts by this administration to usher-in tyranny, they will have to rely upon a lesser instinct in deciding who to elect in '12- their gut reaction. Quite simply: who doth the Media and the entrenched Elite go to the greatest lengths to condemn? Thou would be wisest to vote for this person as much as one who, would toss overboard those at the helm whose course heading is directly into an iceberg.
To suggest that the up-coming election is Titanic would be an understatement. It is the whole ball of wax, ladies and gentlemen- if it even comes to pass- given the vast amounts of fraud taking place right before our eyes today. A President with his pants around his ankles, squatting to relieve himself over the Gulf states for the last 70+ days garners barely a mention, local Governors' protests notwithstanding.
2012 should be a breeze but won't be as many will be caught up with simply trying to survive as the media paints daisies on this administration's every fecal release until then. Then again, Flower Power- like those in a vase, only lasts so long.
I am now satisfied that she has decided to run. She has my vote.
Now that’s sobering!
<< My vote and I will raise $2 million dollars for her. >>
If you can give me ideas on how I could do the same — while still working 50-55 hours a week — then count me in for the same. I would give this woman ALL of my free time and ALL of my effort to see her kick Obama’s ass all over the stage during their debates.
I raised a little over $40K for Fred Thompson in the short time he was in the game. There’s a “gizmo” nowadays on campaign websites that you can put in blogs, comment sections, articles, places like Topix and your own website and also e-mail out. When someone clicks on it and donates, the campaign knows it was you, since each “gizmo” is coded. I also call people in those “Who’s Who” directories that are listed as Republicans, Independents or seem conservative based on their biography. Setting up a “Palin” blog would also help.
I think you have to understand the source, and understand the intended audience. These are people know Palin only from the Tina Fey caricature. They are discovering, much to their shock and discomfort, that there's an actual, real, live, thinking, substantial, formidable political force there--an indomitable person who has not in any way been daunted by their derision, harassment and dismissiveness.
Now, they're belatedly trying to understand Palin and her political power. I'm not sure that they will entirely succeed.
