"I know exactly what I would have done. The first thing I would have done is to bring in outside experts who knew as much or more about this than BP because I wouldn't trust just BP to run it for me. I wouldn't want my fate, the fate of my people, the fate of the southern part of this country in the hands of BP. I would have gone and I'd have called up the people you're talking about, the people I talked about the other night. Are there people that are better than BP, I would have asked. The answer is "yes." Are there people that are far better than BP? Yes. Is BP good at this? No. Then give me the people that are the best. After all, I'm the President of the United States or the Mayor of New York City. If Bush had obama’s resume, he couldn’t get elected to dog catcher. Obama has his path cleared for him and once in office has multiple circles of defense around him. There are way too many groups that have a vested interest in obama being the acting president.
Rudy was just on with Neil Cavuto and he said the president has produced a lot of the problems and that he should pay for some of them.
I know Rudy isn’t the favorite here, but I’d sure feel a hell of a lot better with him in the White House right now.
That’s not likely to happen. Obummer will hide behind his race and many whites will feel too guilty over things they had no part in to call BS.

Rudy could have won if he’d just changed his position on abortion. A Republican CANNOT be pro-death and be elected.
Of course - any crime - and what we see going on is criminal - Rudy can handle, that’s his MO. Where are those other guys the purists wanted - I can’t hear them.

Agreed. I tried to toe the line during the Rudy purge BUT I steadfastly maintained that Reagan and Rudy were the only two politicians that I ever saw make a difference with my own eyes.
It was a classic case of letting perfect be the enemy of the good.
