Seems to me that the sentiment about reflexive support or opposition goes both ways. I’ve never had strong feelings toward Sarah Palin one way or the other but anyone who assumes something less than rabid support is opposition might want to ask themselves if their support is reflexive rather than reasoned.
We saw this with Fred Thompson and all it did was drove people away.
Yeah, the Fred Thompson campaign wasn’t being backstabbed by Myth Romney, the Rontards and Gomer Huckleberry, it was the Fredheads that drove him from the field. Does Mr. Spock have a goatee where you live?
There is something much deeper to it. She speaks for people in middle America who have been shunned by the media and political establishment in this country.
Who else does ? I don’t see anyone else fighting like she is.
The hatred of Sarah Palin by some conservatives is upsetting. Why ? Because I don’t think it is genuine or productive. These are low lifes.
What is very revealing is that among the group of Palin haters are those who believe she is a RINO. And THEN on the other side you have those who think she in not electable because she is TOO CONSERVERATIVE. And these two forces JOIN in the attack and ping eachother. THAT is what tells the story. They are not genuine at all.
