Probably so. But I'm astonished anyone even knows who Campbell is. He's running no commercials, is rarely seen in interviews or other media and ran an utterly feckless, under the radar campaign against Feinstein back in 2000 and has been off the scene since. He was only in Congress a short time too and a decade ago. The fact he's running no adds now and his previous sleepy campaign against Feinstein tells me he'd run another totally flacid general election campaign which will allow Boxer to waltz right back into re-election with no problem. Academics generally make poor candidates as Campbell is proving with his current energyless primary campaign and as shown in his past efforts.
