Showing her trademark reflexive know-nothingness, Sarah Palin declared yesterday, "It's time for Americans across this great country to stand up and say, 'We're all Arizonans now!'"
That would be true if "we" favored a law so flawed that not even the Arizona Association of Police Chiefs supports it.
Then Palin went a step further and blamed President Obama for Arizona's legal lunacy: "And in clear unison we say, 'Mr. President: Do your job. Secure our border.'"
Good grief. Just a little reading up on the issue should have sprinkled a bit of doubt on her barren mental landscape on this subject. Here, Gov. Palin, read the editorial we wrote that highlights how the law raises the potential for racial profiling and poisons police relations with immigrant communities, to name two areas of concern.(continued)

another post of the year.....I don’t disagree, but some here claim that Sarah is the “Enemy of America” just because she doesn’t follow line upon line what they want....
I would appreciate if more people were like “I don’t agree with Palin but I support her at least on this issue”
Many FReppers attacked Palin this weekend over the “Arizona Border” issue
“Here, Gov. Palin, read the editorial we wrote that highlights how the law raises the potential for racial profiling and poisons police relations with immigrant communities, to name two areas of concern...”
Here, Jonathan Capehart, read the BILL
Arizona is right... the left is ALWAYS wrong... but they are DEAD wrong here and Americans... not illegal mexican invaders... but American Citizens of all colors are being attacked, property stolen, raped and murdered because of liberalisms support of increasing their voting block by importing illegal communist peasants from a third world toilet.
I knew you had the same opinions but I just needed to vent to the FR family... and thanks for listening!

“Dont forget the visceral hatred by supporters of other possible GOP candidates. I think theyre worse than the libs. You know where the libs are coming from off the bat.”
You mean the ones who are never willing to state their 2012 preference when questioned? “It’s too early to make a choice yet, but I’ll know the right one when I see him/her.
I must be naive, but I find this kind of thing baffling. They don't seem to grasp the bizarre split between their constantly demeaning Palin, and their obsession with her. If she's so unimportant, such a know-nothing, then why do you care what this private citizen thinks?
If you are in a country illegally, you are a member of no "community". You have no rights parallel or on par with those which the citizens of that country have or legal alien residents have and are guaranteed. In short, you are a criminal, violating the sovereign law. You are in no line whatsoever. You are living in the shadows; the government does not consider you an "immigrant" because you are not in a legal process to "migrate" to a country legally from another country.
You are actually a person who is in violation of the immigration laws of the receiving nation.
So a) these people are not "immigrants" because their intent does not make it so; US law determines their status, and b) they are no members of the "community".
Jonathan Capehart
Let me remind them:
Exactly, if one’s known by the quality of one’s opponents Palin is clearly world class.
WaPo’s Capehart: Austin Suicide Pilot’s ‘Alienation Similar To Extreme Elements of Tea Party Movement’
the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart wrote at the Post Partisan blog, “There’s no information yet on whether he was involved in any anti-government groups or whether he was a lone wolf. But after reading his 34-paragraph screed, I am struck by how his alienation is similar to that we’re hearing from the extreme elements of the Tea Party movement.”
To prevent readers from questioning his fears, Capehart omitted a couple of key sentences from the highlights he shared of Stack’s suicide note (h/t Hot Air via Ace):

Jonathan Capehart of The Washington Post and a contributor to MSNBC, suggested last summer that “maybe what the Republican Party is going to have to do is skip a generation and wait for the Meghan McCains to come of age so they can run for office and take over the mantle of the party.”
Capehart on MSNBC: GOP Now Must ‘Skip a Generation and Wait for the Meghan McCains’
By Brent Baker | Wed, 06/24/2009 - 15:56
In the wake of the revelations about South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford, considered a potential 2012 GOP presidential contender, Washington Post editorial writer Jonathan Capehart declared on MSNBC: Maybe what the Republican Party is going to have to do is skip a generation and wait for the Meghan McCains to come of age so that they can run for office and take over the mantle of the party. Capehart proceeded to pass along a little joke from Post colleague Charles Lane who said at the rate Republicans are going, the only marriages that will be worth anything are the gay folks getting married in Vermont.
At about 3:13 PM EDT, anchor Tamron Hall prompted Capehart’s comments as she raised the name of the liberal younger McCain in forwarding the view the party must move left: We’ve seen a lot of young Republicans, Meghan McCain and some others who’ve come out and said listen, this party has to modernize. They can no longer turn their backs on gays and tout family values as the way in.

Capehart: ‘We’ve Got Two Problems. Um, I Mean, The Administration and Dems Do’
Jonathan Capehart let the mask slip on just how much the MSM is one with Pres. Obama and Democrats at large. Here’s the WaPo editorialist on Morning Joe today, discussing the daunting task of selling ObamaCare to a doubting public:
“We’ve got two problems here. We: I should say the administration or Democrats have two problems.”
Sorry, Jonathan. Cat out of bag. Toothpaste out of tube. Bell rung.

Capehart: Obama Thanked ‘His Reporters,’ Uh, Supporters
Today’s Unintentional Honesty Award goes to Jonathan Capehart. The Washington Post editorialist, discussing Barack Obama’s acceptance speech last night, spoke of the president-elect thanking “his reporters,” before catching himself and substituting “supporters.”
Joe Scarborough, with an assist from executive producer Chris Licht, called Capehart out on his Freudian slip. The WaPo man proceeded to pat himself on the back as one of those rare MSM members who had not been in the tank for Obama. Right.

WaPo’s Capehart: Hard for Media ‘Not to Get Swept Up’ in Obamamania
And it’s hard not to get swept up, I would think, into the enthusiasm and the drama and the excitement behind one of those huge Obama rallies.

The Phoenix Law Enforcement Association, the city police departments largest union, has promoted the bill as a common sense proactive step in the right direction in the continuing battle on illegal immigration.
The Fraternal Order of Police, which represents 6,500 officers statewide, endorsed the bill but said it had reservations over the potential costs to departments and the lack of training for local officers to identify who might be in the country illegally.
