no, I'm talking about exactly what they do. Duhhh. I've already told you I don't like confrontation. It's not in my personality. But had I held Boehner's office, before the vote on Obamacare... I would have:
1. Had a unified tv/internet/blogosphere/tea party/conservative websites call for EVERY POSSIBLE American to be in DC that weekend. 2. Ordered every GOP in the house to fill every space they can inside the building with people who are protesting. But silently and not obstructing. 3. Told Pelosi "NO, or we unleash the people". And then DONE IT. I would have filled every corner, jammed wall to wall with people - protesters. And brought things to a halt. By force of mob, if need be. This nation is actually WORTH FIGHTING FOR. Instead, the GOP hid like rats and played parliamentary parlor games. Cowards, spineless fools. This nation is worth defending, even at risk of crossing a few cranky cops or making Pelosi and Obama mad. Yes, I would have risked my "career" to obstruct. Even risked jail. As I said, this nation is actually, ACTUALLY worth fighting for. But not to the GOP. It just sits around being wimps and putzes. And you have the gall to say they had "cohones" for voting "no" on obamacare. That's like saying "no" if you're asked if you want your kneecaps busted with a sledgehammer. There isn't even a question.

Boehner did everything he could to stop the bill - unified GOP opposition, put out every talking point, made a noise, and people around the country made clear the bil was unpopular - but Pelosi had 250 vote to play with... UNLESS AND UNTIL WE REMOVE HER MAJORITY, the Democrats wont listen.
