My favorites for 2012, in no particular order:
Paul Ryan (at the top of everyone’s vp short list)
Mike Pence
John Thune
Marco Rubio
Mitch Daniels
Haley Barbour
Tim Pawlenty
Bobby Jindal (probably waiting for 2016 or 2020)
Dr Bill Frist (possible political comeback?)
Sarah Palin
Missing: Huckster and Mitt, there is no way I would ever support either one of those clowns.
You don’t seem to get the difference between legislators and executives.
Your top four candidates are all legislators. Better they go become governor to get some executive experience before trying to become the Chief Executive of the lone superpower in the world, at least for now.
Check your history. 2008 was an anomaly in having 2 senators as the top dogs and only one executive on either ticket.
Presidents come from governorships or military officer positions.
Legislating is COMPLETELY different than leading.
Even if you have good ideas, if you don’t know how to lead, it profiteth nothing ...
