In your haste to attack Palin and defend Romney, you forgot to "google".

Palin bought a few of her MILLIONS of books from the publisher at wholesale to sell for fund raising, that is cheap and it does not inflate the retail book sale numbers. The daggers on the NYTs list indicates that someone was making bulk purchases at full retail prices, which is only done for one reason, to pass as purchases by the general public and to falsely inflate book sales to get onto the best seller list.
