Robert Allen Mansfield, a sergeant in the National Guard with service in Iraq, has announced he is dropping out of the May 18 Republican primary election to do his best to ensure the Democrat wins.
As a resident of PA, I’m a little disturbed by this. With the Dems cheating that goes on in Philly, we need to have a united front for one candidate. I believe a third-party run will throw this to the Democrat...and we don’t need that.

In a country where couples beg for ANY baby, why would he be kept in foster care for 2 years? Was he one of those held captive by black social workers who want only black families to adopt black children?
Sad to say that if this man runs as an independent, we here in PA may as well get used to hearing Gov. Dan Onorato (basically Ed Rendell II). Should that happen, I will vomit, but I will be right as I basically felt like Onorato would be Governor someday. He got a ton of “Republican” support here in Allegheny County (Pittsburgh, PA area). While he’s passed a few laws here in the County that drive people nuts, the Philadelphia area, including dead people, will love this man. Couple that with an Independent taking votes from Corbett, well, we’re doomed.
