I now believe that the reason for some of Bush’s strange ideas during his last term was do to “horse trading” with McCain.

For instance:

McQueeg: “You back me on imigration reform, I’ll back you on the war”.
Bush: “But the people don’t want imigration reform!”
McQueeg: “You want me as a Republican or a Democrat?”
Bush: “Sigh”

I like John McCain as an American, but he is a RINO and I would never vote for him again.

Great segment from Rush today! Without McLame, she’d be nowhere. I must admit...I was truly pi$$ed when I heard about her endorsement. But you gotta love her allegiance and willingness to take the heat. It shows her confidence in her supporters as well.

It shows her confidence in her supporters as well.

Taking one's supporters for granted is not exactly a positive trait, ya know.

Sarah is stuck, and she should do whatever she is obligated to do with as low a profile and minimal impact as she can possible manage. Once McCain has lost the primary, She should come on strong for Hayworth. All will be understood and forgiven.

While i dont like McVain, i understand what Sarah is doing, she is what she is now because of him and she is stuck somewhat with him until he loses then she’s free from him............anyone of us can say we wouldnt do it but we are not the ones trying to infiltrated a RINO infested party and trying to win the White House........ Rush is right that these people have the money in the party and so you have to be careful how one should
be around them ever so subtle, but still be against them......

Bush: “But the people don’t want imigration reform!”

Your premise is incorrect. Bush wanted amnesty from day one. He tried to get it through but 9-11 happened and the bill was shelved in 2002 by Sen. Byrd using a Senate technicality to stop it.

Bush tried to push it through again in 2006 and twice in 2007.

Poor Rush.....it took him 700 words of parsing, and he still couldn’t say anything one way or another. “I’m not avoiding this” 3 times.

“I haven’t forgotten about Sarah Palin and McCain, I’m not avoiding this. Folks, I’ll say again, Sarah Palin is not a tea partier, she spoke there, but she is a Republican”

Yep, for better or worse.

Palin is not “stuck.”

She may feel some loyalty to McCain, for obvious reasons. In fact, if she trashed McCain after a mere 14 months after running with him, she would seem much MORE cynical, and looking like a typical politician.

She did her bit for her “friend” now she can simply step aside, and let the candidates win or lose on their own merits.

Someone at J.D.’s campaign office wrote a big “Thanks!” on the check I sent them. I saw the note when the check cleared through my credit union.

I think another donation is in order.

You are correct.
I was only using this as an example of how horse trading comes too easy to McCain.

Believe me, I’m no fan of Bush either!

If McCain is willing to throw civility under the bus now, in this contested primary against a fellow Republican, when he was so civil toward Obama just a year ago, then the obvious conclusion is ...

McCain deliberately threw the presidential race to his fellow communist.
