This is my biggest fear. Most Americans dont follow politics like we do, and even conservative leaning folks who dont follow politics much are likely to be swayed by Palin. She alone could take Hayworth down with her popularity.
My concern also. Like it or not, Sarah Palin has acquired through no fault of her own, a 'rock star' aura about her and that is a powerful weapon in the political PR war of images and sound bites.
Again, if Sarah Palin provides the edge that McCain needs to retain his Senate seat, each and every piece of legislation that McCain puts his name on over the next 6 years should have Sarah's name on it too, because she will be the reason that he returns to Washington to introduce that legislation. Words and actions have consequences.

That means that we conservatives need to work that much harder to win it for JD. It's just a shame we have to be fighting against Palin, instead of with her.

Sarah's endorsement of McCain is a mistake.
Similar to the way Reagan made mistakes. Does every poor SC decision O'Connor made on the SC have Reagan's name on it. Does every new illegal alien in this country have Reagan's name on it because Reagan gave illegal aliens amnesty in '86? What about the abortion bill Reagan signed when he was governor?
All those were mistake made by our greatest modern day president.
