1. I agree with Campbell and others that the ad was so freaky deaky — so fiscal conservatives are sheep, now? — that its harm to Fiorina outweighs its benefit to her (or its harm to Campbell. whatever).

2. I like Campbell personally and would have voted for the 1988 version of him. But he’s drifted well to the left since then, including on financial issues, such as a proposed tax on gas IN CALIFORNIA, IN 2009. In-sane.

No way I can vote for him in an election these days except as some sort of “prevention against something even worse.”

All Campbell has to do is to confront Ms Fiorina with her (paraphrasing) “Americans have no right to a job” as she defended H-P’s offshoring.
