Enclosed are some excerpts from Senator John McCain's letter that he E-Mailed to his followers today. I'm pleased to see someone on Capital Hill who is standing up to Obama and the Democrats and their outrageous wasteful spending.....
"My Friend,
I have spent much of my career fighting against wasteful spending in Washington. I'm not afraid to speak out when I see taxpayer dollars wasted. And in all my years in public office, I have never seen spending as out of control as it is under the current Democratic leadership.
Our national debt has reached an all-time high of $12.4 trillion dollars as a result of the astonishing expansion of big government under President Obama. And now, Congressional Democrats want to raise our national debt ceiling by an additional $1.9 trillion. This is unconscionable.
If Democrats are successful in raising the debt ceiling, our country will have a budget deficit of nearly $14.3 trillion! It's outrageous and frightening to think of passing on such a staggering amount of debt to our children and grandchildren."
"It seems nearly every single elected Democrat has ignored the public's disapproval for their out of control spending. They are out-of-touch with every day American values and each national poll shows a majority of Americans agree with us."
"I've been a vocal opponent of the Obama agenda of wasteful spending, expansion of government, increased tax burdens on hardworking Americans, and the massive takeover of our health care system. I will continue to voice my disapproval for these failed policies."

McCain is just a tiny bit less of a progressive than Obama.

My congressman actually did stand against the big bank bailout. The GOP repaid him by stripping him of funding two weeks before the election.

Does the word “mercurical” come to mind? John McCain zigs back and forth like a gadfly in the truest sense of the word.
Just when you could count on his judgment and good sense, he goes off on a toot. He may even betray this most recent expression of fiscal sanity, by going off on some “social justice” pursuit, that has nothing to do with saving money.
Is it too much to actively work for his retirement from the Senate this fall?

Keep in mind that it’s McCain who opposes abortion and gay marriages.

With luck and good sense, this time next year we will have JD Hayworth to stand up to Obama, giving a little truth and reality to the action.

Yeah, too bad McStain couldn’t find his ‘nads and ‘stand up’ to 0bama in the Fall of 2008, instead of throwing the election to the Kenyan wonderboy.

Keep in mind that its McCain who opposes abortion and gay marriages.
McCain is on the record as saying that he would never consider re-visiting Roe v. Wade, iow, it is 'settled law' meaning that McCain believes that it is quite ok that millions of unborn children are murdered in the womb each year because Roe v. Wade 'settled' the issue.
As for homosexual marriage, McCain obviously has no influence over his own household and family in view of the disgraceful pro-homo propaganda that his wife and daughter are trumpeting all over the damn place.
It's time for Arizona to elect a REAL conservative Republican, and his name is J.D. Hayworth.
McCain just plays a conservative on TV 6 months before every election cycle.

Agreed. He threw the election to BO, because he is a shill of the global governance cabal.
McCon can be counted on for zero sustained support for any truly conservative cause. His record as a political confidence man is well-documented. If someone blocks drilling for USA oil, perpetuates the Global Warming Scam, supports amnesty for illegals etc. etc., he can call himself whatever he wants, but the reality is that political expediency is his only compass. Hed probably be sporting duck tape along with his wife and daughter if it would generate votes.
He cannot be trusted any more than his deceased buddy Red Kennedy; probably less so, due to his political masquerading. At least you knew which way the the swimmer floated.
Hes a user: What can Palin and Brown do for him?
Polish his phony conservative credentials.
Given the stakes, its heartbreaking to think that either of them would ignore Juans New World Order proclivities, throw their considerable weight behind him and put USA sovereignty at risk.
If they can be duped or turned, who can you rely on?

At least with Obama you know what you got. McCain is as devious as they get and for some reason he gets away with screwing the pooch over and over.

I was just listening to Roger Hedgecock trash Sarah Palin and suck up to JD Hayworth, then listened as JD proceeded to blame George W Bush for losing his Congressional seat. I thought I was listening to Obummer or a Democrat. I turned the radio off, better silence than Bullcrap. Man Up JD, and run for your old seat......You sounded like a loser.
