Ron Paul and Ru Paul have about the same amount of credibility when it comes to American foreigh policy

Since President Obama’s inauguration, the man who previously occupied the vice presidential mansion has not tired of criticizing the current commander-in-chief’s foreign policy moves, but he appears to be coming under increasing fire from those who are considered to be his closer ideological allies.
Dick Cheney has gone on record in the past few months saying the administration’s polices—especially the desire to scale down the U.S. involvement in Afghanistan and Iraq, and setting a public timetable to do so—are endangering America’s national security.
However, in a recent appearance on CNN, Rep. Ron Paul (R – Texas), a prominent libertarian, said Cheney’s eight-year tenure caused "a lot of trouble" for America.
"He perpetuated a war in Iraq that was unnecessary and wrong-headed," Paul told the news network, adding "14 or 15 of the terrorists came from Saudi Arabia. We didn’t attack Saudi Arabia, [instead] we attacked Iraq."
"I would say it would be best he not be so critical right now," the Texas congressman concluded.
Paul has long argued that the U.S. involvement overseas stimulates much of the anger encountered in places like the Middle East, and fuels many extremists’ willingness to sacrifice their own lives to fight America.
Dick Cheney has more brains in his little finger than Ron Paul has, well, Ron Paul doesn’t have any.
Ron Paul is no ally of any loyal American. That is why MSNBC and CNN have him on so frequently.

I have read Paul’s ramblings for years. He is like a turd after eating corn on the cob. The golden ones are all over.
Some on FR need to get it that Ron Paul is not a conservative, not a republican but in name only to snow his voters for votes.
Paul’s libertarian views especially on national security and the war is no different the the far left.

This is why a Libertarian will never become president. I don’t mind Libertarians getting elected to Congress to fight government spending and the legitimacy of the Fed, but I can’t imagine one as the Commander in Chief. What our country needs is another Andrew Jackson.

I like Ron Paul and I like Dick Cheney. That being said, I disagree with both of them. How we wage the war is complete BS, the US should be stomping the fear of allah (piss be upon him) into these neanderthals. The ROE and nation-building just isn’t cutting it. Obviously, the enemy resides in Washington DC as well so what’s the point.
