Not only was Congressman Joe "Grandma Doesn't Need That Pacemaker, And We Don't Like Children Anyhow" Sestak (D-7Pa.) among the 220 votes last night for socializing American medicine, he was also among the 194 opposing the Stupak Amendment that would have kept the public tax-supported plan from covering abortions. Approval of the Stupak Amendment was required for the socialism to proceed.

I guess we know where Joe's priorities lie -- socialism is good but abortion is better.

the bush justice dept allowed the dems to go after curt weldon
because weldon was on to clinton. the fbi raided weldon’s office
two weeks before election. weldon had been
winning but the tide turned for sestak. of course. no
charges were brought against weldon. once he was taken
out, the frau was not needed. but repubs didn’t say a word,
didn’t help weldon. this is what we now get.

As stated by a previous poster, the Stupak Amendment is NOT very strong, and has huge loopholes.

There is a good chance that the Senate abortion restrictions will be tighter. Still, this is horrible legislation.

Does anyone have a count, or the names of the vulnerable Dems that voted for this?

Meehan is not running against him. Meehan is running against whoever the Dems pick to replace Little Joe in Pa. 7.

Right now, Sestak is running against Specter. Pat Toomey -- a great candidate -- will run against the winner.

Whoops, my mistake.

I’m not even sure that Sestak will make it through the ‘Rat primary.

Soros took out Weldon. It happened so quickly and the new media pushed it and the sheepel ran away from him.

It’s time to take off the gloves. Everyone in 7 should put a sign in their yard that says

Sestak
voted to kill your Grandma

Time to get the children asking their parents what’s going on. Maybe some will get angry and maybe some will wake up.
