I really have doubts as to whether he’s all that gung ho for 2012. I know he has said in the past he might be interested, but he seems to be having way too much fun just having fun ~ mountain climbing all over the world and lots of other very physical pursuits. I think he’s enjoying retirement but I could be wrong.

That's the problem. The potentially GOOD candidates have lives outside of politics.
